I have recently tried this for my x350 2nd edition. The step by step guide is correct aside from missing the Shell ini file in the root folder. This can be copied from the binatone card and placed on your tt card. It won’t work without the shell file.

I don’t think the F350 can run TomTom v7 at all.

I’ve installed the GPS tools (which allow you to have multiple apps etc) and then installed v7.9, installed the UK map (mentioned above), loads the map up ok but almost instantly crashes out with “Not enough memory”…..I just don’t think it’s possible to run it….

@ ads43 – you need to enter your correct GPS port and baud rate. Confirmation is here, but it may mean the aerial connector is loose

I have purchased the Binatone B430 and have just put Tom Tom 6 onto an SD card.

When I come to use the Binatone or Tom Tom software, if fails to pick up a GPS signal. It was picking one up before I installed Tom Tom.

Any help would be appreciated. I’ve tried resetting it.

TT6 work fine, just outdated.

TT7 installed correctly – asked for map.

Map activated via Fast Activate with correct meta and DeviceID from ttnavigator.bif.

No map found if not using note_prj.dll, so assume this is now correct….but….

TT7 out of memory on launch from ‘Navigation’. Running on Binatone T350 direct from flash. Currently trying on SD.

WinCE 6.0/Navcore 7.9x

TT6 installed on SD card works fine on Binatone x350.
Can anyone tell me if speed cameras warnings are enabled, as
the enable button on my menues are greyed out. Correct or not ?? or have I missed something some where

cant get it to work at all. copied everythin fine to memory card, have 2 files on maps and mobilenavigator but binatone does not even recognise card and loads normally with crappy software. Anyone in cumbria uk by any chance?

I am in possession of a Binatone X350 Sat Nav. It’s worked perfectly until now. When I switch it on all I get is “Binatone” and will not move from this setting. It MAY need Calibrating and if so can I do it myself and how is it done because when I plug it into my computer it states that the device is not reogognised. What if anything can I do to get it working properly again?

Hello… I’m from Germany…
I just got a Binatone x350 as Replacement from a friend who crushed my old Nav. I did a very little research on updating the Map material and it doesn’t seem like there aren’t any map updates for Germany. Fortunately i landed on this website… I just wanted to ask if there is any easy term i should search for to find the linked file for Germany?
sorry for bothering but i seemingly can’t manage to find what I’m searching for expect by accident =/
